Footnote: The Battalion was raised in the Provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta, with mobilization headquarters at Winnipeg, Manitoba under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed April 29, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel H. F. Osler with
