Victorian Knight Intaglio Signet Ring Size:8.75 Alexandrite: 8DATE: Victorian, c. 1870 A cool Victorian signet ring featuring an intaglio carved knight. Fully helmeted, he carries a shield with fleur de lis heraldic emblem, also appearing on his head crest. The stone is sardonyx, carved through a white band to render the intaglio in the red stone beneath. The ring dates from the latter half of the 19th century, circa 1870, modelled in 15 karat gold.
